Michael Bechtold, a native of Lebanon County, graduated from Princeton University where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. While at Princeton, he was an all-Ivy League basketball player and was the Captain of the Men’s Basketball Team that competed in multiple NCAA and NIT Tournaments.
Mr. Bechtold received his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) in May 2006 from Widener University School of Law, where he graduated Cum Laude. He was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and was a finalist in the 2005 Harrisburg Campus Moot Court Competition.
Mr. Bechtold was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in October 2006 and is admitted to practice before all Pennsylvania courts as well as the United States Middle District Court and the United States Supreme Court.
Mr. Bechtold also participates in several community programs and committees which include being the Vice-Chair of the Lebanon Corps of the Salvation Army, is on the Board of Directors of the Lebanon County Division of the American Heart Association, a member of the Lebanon Valley Educational Partnership Program, and serves on the Princeton Alumni Schools Committee.
Attorney Bechtold has a general practice of law, concentrating on family law, personal injury, social security disability, business representation, and criminal defense. He also serves as the Solicitor for the Lebanon School District.
